Bird arrivals

Those of you who look at the “Devon Birds” website will have seen that over the past couple of
weeks there has been a flood of reports on sightings of Firecrests. They are frequently being seen
together with small flocks of Goldcrests and Long Tailed Tits and are quite widespread around the
County at present. There are now also reports of Yellow Browed Warblers and Hawfinches starting
to come in so it is time for us all to get out to see these delightful visitors. So that we can see the
distribution of these birds, please keep putting your sightings up on the website
